Our fee is $350 per month. This rate is all-inclusive. We accept Venmo, PayPal, and checks. Two foot trimmings per year, two to four dewormings, one teeth check, and annual rabies, West Nile, and tetanus vaccines are provided. Winter feed is also included. We provide routine care at our own expense. In the rare case of an emergency or major operation, we will work closely with you and our vets to determine the best course of action. We write a monthly email with a general update on the farm, but are also available to send photos, video, or specific updates at your request.
Above all, we want you to feel comfortable with the care your horse is receiving in his or her twilight years. As such, we offer one complimentary night per year at our ca. 1830 bed-and-breakfast, Welbourne Inn, just a short walk from the farm. You’re also welcome to stay or stop in and visit your old friend anytime—we’re open year-round.
